Thesis and Dissertation Requirements
No formal thesis is required. Candidates for the all MA degrees must take one seminar in which a major research paper is required. The instructor will grade the paper for form and content and decide whether it is suitable, with or without revision, to be presented to the department in lieu of a thesis.
