Renate Blumenfeld-Kosinski Elected Officer of Medieval Academy

Renate Blumenfeld-Kosinski, Distinguished Professor of French, has been elected as an Officer of the Medieval Academy of America. She will serve on the Academy's Council, its primary governing body, for three years, culminating in 2020-2021 when she will serve as President of the Academy. Prof. Blumenfeld-Kosinski will deliver her Presidential Address at the organization's Annual Meeting in the spring of 2021. 

The Medieval Academy of America is the largest organization in the world promoting excellence in the field of medieval studies, serving more than 3400 members worldwide. It was founded in 1925 and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Academy publishes the quarterly journal Speculum and awards prizes, grants, and fellowships.
