Heinz History Center Italian American Collection 10th Anniversary Bocce Tournament

August 10, 2019 (All day)

"Come throw out the pallino and throw down for a worthy cause! Join us and sponsor a team, a court, or stop by to enjoy delicious Italian food courtesy of Common Plea Catering and live music including Pure Gold. The History Center’s 10th annual Bocce Tournament & Festival is an annual fundraiser that supports the Italian American Program. Founded in 1990, the Italian American Program at the History Center is dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Italian Americas in Western Pennsylvania. The program’s collection at the Senator John Heinz History Center is one of the largest in the country and home to artifacts and archival materials that document the pivotal role Italian Americans play in shaping our region.

"To commemorate the milestone 10th year of the Bocce Tournament & Festival, we will be raffling off a 2019 Vespa for $50 per raffle ticket (limited tickets to be sold) that you will be able to purchase in advance."
