French Major Alison Chilcott Wins Fulbright to Senegal 2021-2022

The Department of French and Italian is proud to congratulate French major Alison Chilcott who has won both a Fulbright to Senegal and a coveted place in the TAPIF program (Teaching Assistantship Program in France) for the 2021-2022 academic year.  Competition for both international honors is keen and Alison's winning both is a testament to her academic talent and hard work over the past four years. Alison graduates with majors in French and biology, minors in chemistry and sociology and the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine certificate.  During her time at the University of Pittsburgh, she has most effectively wed her many interests and passions.  Her work abroad next year is the start of a future career in the medical field in which she will put to service both her scientific and linguistic expertise. Congratulations Alison!
