Samuel Esser (Italian; Politics & Philosophy) and Daniel Turillo (Political Science; Italian) Receive Pitt Honors College Brackenridge Fellowships

Italian majors Samuel Esser (Italian; Politics & Philosophy) and Daniel Turillo (Political Science; Italian) are the recipients of Pitt Honors College Brackenridge Fellowships for the Summer 2021 semester. Sam will be researching connections between Italian language standardization and nationalist political movements, while Danny’s project will focus on “The Soundtrack of the Far Right: Italy’s Neofascist Music Scene.” Both students will conduct their research under the sponsorship of Prof. Lina Insana.
