We recommend that you seek out information regarding scholarships and other funding opportunities as early as possible. Make sure you check out the various opportunities on the GEO Scholarship website and speak with a GEO advisor early on in the application process. Many scholarships at Pitt have earlier deadlines than you might expect. For example, the Nationality Rooms scholarships and the Vira Heinz Scholarship typically have deadlines in the fall semester for study abroad in summer.
ITALIAN
Italian Program Summer Scholarship Program (click on the link to apply; applications due January 8, 2027)
Thanks to our generous community donors, we are delighted to offer scholarships to students studying in Italy in the summer. Awards on based on need, merit, and program of study. Priority will be given to Italian majors and minors, but remaining funds may be distributed to non-majors/minors as well. Contact Prof. Lorraine Denman with any questions or for more information.
