Congratulations to Alexandra Derubeis (Political Science, Italian) and Matthew Madia (Italian, Psychology), recipients of undergraduate research fellowships awarded by the University Honors College. Alexandra’s project, “Pittsburgh's Columbus Monument and Institutions of Italian Identity” has been awarded a Chancellor’s Undergraduate Research Fellowship and will be supervised by Dr. Lina Insana. Matthew’s project, “The Italo-American Lens of College Dietary Choices: An Interventional Approach to College Students’ Self-Reported Levels of Academic Stress, Academic Self-Control Exertion, and Dietary Choices,” has been awarded a UHC Research Fellowship and will be supervised by Dr. Lorraine Denman.
