Teaching and Research Interests

Natalie Amgott's teaching interests lie at the intersection of the theory and practice of language learning. Her research centers second language pedagogies, digital multimodal composition, study abroad, and critical literacy. Specifically, in her teaching she strives to create resources and project-based learning that incorporate multimedia from French and Francophone films, television, social media, music, and news resources. Amgott's research has been published in Foreign Language AnnalsJournal of Literacy Research, L2 Journal, and The Journal of Language, Identity, & Education.
